A: On LIvVE, image isn't everything, but you definitely want to have one! It starts with your portrait and ends with your profile. Left click once on your username and you will most likely see a portrait of a baghead. You will want to get rid of that quickly. To do that, right click on your username and select Edit My Account. This will take you into the account manager where you can select a more suitable portrait for your chat persona. While in there, feel free to share some information about yourself in your LIvVE profile. I wouldn't put your phone number in there, but it doesn't hurt to share with your fellow users what your all about.


HOW DO I TALK? Some rooms are chat restricted, which means moderators decide whether they want audio chat to be open to the whole room. In an open room, wait for an opportunity, and click and hold the mouse down over the green TALK button.


DID YOU MEET A FRIEND? WANT TO FIND THEM AGAIN?

A: Finding your friends: You can put your friends on a BUDDY LIST by right clicking on their username and selecting ADD (username) TO BUDDY LIST. Now, it will tell you whenever they are in the system!


Q: HOW DO I MODERATE A ROOM?

A: Wow, you are really diving in head first! To moderate, i.e., "mod," your own room, go to the lobby and click on CREATE A ROOM to the right. You will then name it and select the room's rules. It's just that easy. You are now in a room with the moderator's gavel next to your name. Now, they can come to you!


Q: ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

A: Sure. LIvVE is a tight-knit community and many of the users who mod rooms set up rules for the rooms they run. Your best bet is to follow those rules. This way, everyone stays happy and has a great time.
